Clean Water

Introduction

Clean Water is invaluable access in most of Africa, Nigeria not the least. State owned water supply are either in limited supply or not connected to entire towns. Local communities buy water from street vendors or create a system to meet this crucial need. Draught in recent years in Nigeria has subjected farmers to hardships, forcing them to abandon their lands and move to down south in search of conducive agricultural pursuit. It isn’t also unheard for farmers to transition into trading to make ends meet.

The non for profit Sustainable Clean Water is changing the story since 2021, with systems provided for communities facing dire challenges. The installation is solar powered, a resource in vast supply in Nigeria. The beginning of 2023 marks a new partnership with Sustainable Innovation joining the water provision campaign. Featuring grassroot initiative, Sustainable Innovation believes a project

Women in many Nigerian villages spend hours reaching source of clean water, sometimes in preparation to send their children to school. Students reach school late or skip a whole day as they are sent by their parents to fetch water and look after younger sibling. Unhygienic water could cause cholera and typhoid, notoriously known to deter life quality and costly treatments from families that hardly afford a meal per day.

Sustainability

Since grassroot ideas are unique when starting a project, a communicate based approach becomes necessary as is the foundation of our efforts. The clean water project is successful and sustainable largely following the ownership young people take, the physical work they invested in, and their desire to see such development come into their very own settlement. Throughout the distribution phase, youth have dug considerable distance to allow for plumbing to reach streets farther from the installation.

The goal of sustainability with our projects are fulfilled with the combined effort of beneficiaries, partners and investors to invest in needs of economic interest or survival. It also has to be low resource usage project. The use of solar system in this case cuts the demand for gasoline or powerline cost. When the goal for community development is focused on what their youths are willing to give and the length they can go to maintain it, investors can be certain of an efficient usage of their finances when they donate.

Funding

Our partnership with Sustainable Clean Water put the idea of shared  financial responsibilities forward, in beating down cost of materials to install and distribute water. Utilizing available manpower on ground has reduced the overall finances needed to complete the project. In the interest of timely completion, plans are adapted at multiple stages while the community youths remain flexible.

Contractors hired to lead the project are financial determinants as well; hence our choice for economically efficient contractors that share similar values as ours. In this very project both manpower and the contractors are essential in keeping finances low. In turn, investors and donors response to our campaign exercises could look forward to a reasonably minimal spending.

Opportunities

Partnership takes place at many levels, providing investors and community residence the opportunities to participate at their strength levels. With several new opportunities coming into light, we keep our social media accounts upto date with the latest. Spreading the word to friends and families is one way, as is financial donation.

When new projects are announced they come with opportunities for everyone to participate in. Our readers are encouraged to stay in touch to partner with us in life changing projects.
